COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS UPDATE

We hope you and your loved ones are in good health. While many things have changed due to COVID-19, our commitment to your safety has remained the same.

Infection control and maintaining safety protocols have always been a top priority for our practice. Our infection control processes are updated to make sure you remain safe during this time, so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.

For the protection of all of our patients and staff, we are requesting the following:

  • If you have an illness or are showing symptoms, we ask that you cancel and reschedule your dental appointment. Some illness and symptoms include:

    • Cold, flu, or fever

    • Chest pain or difficulty breathing

    • Fever or nausea

    • Severe headaches or body aches

    • Muscle or stomach pain

    • Vomiting or diarrhea

    • Active tuberculosis (TB)

    • Other contagious diseases

We also recommend you cancel and reschedule your appointment if you or someone you are in close contact traveled by airplane, cruise ship, bus or train, or if you have been exposed to someone who is or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has seen symptoms of COVID-19.

For the protection of all of our patients and staff during your visit, we request the following:

• Please wear a mask before entering our office and keep it on until our staff instructs you to remove it. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one.

• Avoid touching other people and objects inside the practice.

• We have hand sanitizer that we may ask you to use when inside our practice.

• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you and our patients safe.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.

Sincerely,

The Civic Dental Team
